For many couples their idea of a personalized wedding favor is one that is not only a reminder of their wedding bit one that includes their names and details of the date and place. These favors are designed to be more permanent reminders of your special day and depending on the type of favor you present to them, they may last for many years to come.

After all the time, money and effort that go into a wedding day, no-one wants that memory to just blend in with other weddings the guests have attended. As with other parts of your wedding day which require the personal touch as they an individual request that is relevant to your wedding then the same situation relates to the favors which will need to be ordered as soon as possible. Even if the favors are already manufactured, they may still need to go through an additional process to personalize the item which will likely take at least a few days for the order to be processed and the manufacturer may have a number of other orders ahead of yours awaiting personalization. When you find a specialist wedding favor manufacturer, delays for the order to be processed can be the result of the time of year, as weddings are seasonal, which means you could have to wait many weeks for them to be ready and if any other unforeseen delays occur, you may have problems.

You can also be certain that if you place your order early you will not have to ask the company to complete a special order for you which will definitely cost considerably more. Your budget will determine just how much information you will be able to place on each personalized wedding gift and obviously it is nice to place more that just the names of the couple plus the day they were married but the more that is printed, the greater the charge. Even candy wrappers can be personalized just as coasters, photo frames and candles are but if you want something different then you do not have to have names printed on the favors at all.

While edible wedding favors are very popular, they obviously don’t have the long lasting effect of personalized favors but can still be very effective if you want to have your image printed on a cookie for example. Most modern bakeries can take a digital photo or even a can and print them onto the face of a cookie without too much trouble.

Once the wedding cake picture of the couple is printed on the cookie, there is no reason why the names and wedding details cannot be placed on there as well. If you want to give something edible that is going to last as well then why not have the printing done on the wrapper or ribbon instead as they can at least eat the wedding favor but will still have a reminder to keep. These types of ribbons can be purchased either precut or in one continuous ribbon which does create more work but the precut ribbons are likely to be more expensive although they can save the person doing the wrapping a great deal of time.
