Some websites report them as the cure-all for everything that ails a PC, while others are more conservative in their descriptions about this type of PC maintenance software. With all of the claims that abound about registry cleaners and what they can do, can they really fix your computer
Sadly, this question does not have a pat answer; it could be yes or no depending on your situation. It is certain that specific problems can be and are addressed by these PC maintenance tools, but you will have no way of knowing for certain without purchasing it and giving it a go. It might or might not fix the problems with your PC.
You see a registry cleaner does many things as it cleans up the registry; however, the only thing it fixes are outdated entries. This old errant information will be completely removed from the computers registry. You have to understand however that the main thing this information is doing is taking up space. Now over a good amount of time this can build up and slow the performance of your computer, however it should not slow your computer significantly.
On occasion, these old registry entries can cause issues with loading programs. Specific programs may take forever to load if they do at all and you get weird error messages when trying to run the applications. You computer can even become instable at times.

If there is errant information in your registry when you start up your Windows based PC or try to open a program, your computer may have problems finding the correct drivers or other essential information, and this leads to some of the symptoms discussed above.

Nonetheless, registry cleaners can and do repair certain computer related issues and running a cleaner is recommended at least on a semi-regular basis. Regardless of your issues, it is not a bad idea to purchase a professional registry repair tool for your PC. Then you will always have a good optimization tool at your fingertips and prevent registry issues from cropping up to begin with.
