One common trend is to have flowers around the bib necklace hanging below the neck. This is very trendy and chic. Many people like to wear a bib necklace because it is fun and not many other people have one. Pretty cool. At least most of today’s women seem to think so.
The “bib necklace” is rather a new name for this piece of jewelry. Many newbies and cebrities are going ga-ga for quite the decidedly grown-up accessory also known as the bib necklace. As we hinted earlier in Looking Forward to Spring Trends ,this key piece of jewelry had a major presence in the season’s shows. Now much-discussed fashion philes like Mischa Barton and Natalia Vodianova are translating that runway trend into their real-life style and are opting for everything from baby bibs to full-blown breastplates!
Speaking of Hollywood stars, we must point out that a select few of them were of the first paparazzi-favorites to go with this trend. They started piling on these theatrical pieces back in late fall, choosing a sinuous silver-and-neon-beaded number for evening fun. Some designs like a florescent bib necklace add a bright pop of color to a woman’s all-dark outfit.
Some women may have been first to adopt this piece of jewelry, but they’re certainly not the only ones who like this accessory.
The previous month at the New York shows, it seemed like almost every single attendee had tied one on! For example, many of the mostsought afters stars and celebs showed up in weekend parties to show up in an ultra-glamorous version of bliss and beauty. The bib necklace appears to be one of many favorite pieces as of late, as women have been spotted wearing it with both dressy and casual outfits with great results.
